Micro-encapsulation is a process by which small particles (plant extracts, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids) are encased in a uniform shell formed by alginates, sorbitol, and gum arabic. It protects the bioactive and delicate ingredients from various environmental conditions, such as heat, air (oxidation), acidity (stomach acid), etc. Taimi micro-encapsulated products release the bioactive ingredients in the small intestine, where they get absorbed optimally.
